This has been one of the best birthdays ever
Today has been all over the map with an exam, class, having to make a group presentation and enjoying life with my Kaleo family. But God has been present through it all. I just feel so incredibly blessed to have such wonderful people in my life that I can laugh and have fun with but also that I can learn and grow with. I really don’t know what I would do without these people. I’m thankful that I have a wonderful family that cares about me and loves me and takes the time to call me or make me a sick mix cd. Right now things are going really well for me. I had a sweet time talking with some girls at Dairy Queen, my roommates bought me flowers and I am dwelling in the presence of my Creator. But I know that this period of abundance won’t last forever. And though I am now officially legal in all Canadian provinces I still feel like a kid. I don’t have all the answers and I don’t have it figured out. But I’m okay with that. I don’t need to have my future planned out because I can rest in what my Kaleo leader, Andrew, told us at the beginning of this program. He told us that when all else fails we can trust in the fact that God is sovereign and God is good. And so when (not if) everything else falls apart, God is enough.
