I wish I wrote more

But my thoughts just get jumbled

So instead of skipping a chance to hang out with my friends to do homework I apparently skipped a chance to hang out with my friends to google why my sneezes smell like honey. This procrastination is getting out of hand. ~~And I still don’t know why I smell honey!~~

lettherebesmiling asked: I know they say to never judge a book by its cover, but I feel like it's an artist's job to portray moods and themes of the book in the design of a book's cover (or lackthereof in the case of Catcher in the Rye). Did you have any say in what the cover of TFiOS ended up looking like? If yes, why was it designed to look the way it does? What is the cover portraying? If no, what, do you think, is the cover's relevance to the book? Is there any particular part it expresses especially well?

Most authors don’t have a ton of say in their covers (and I certainly don’t internationally), but I did have a lot of say in this cover, and I was very happy with the cover that Rodrigo Corral...
