Writing letters while drinking hot chocolate from my favourite mug :)

I got my mug from a gift exchange in which everyone bought a mug, stuffed it with candies and left with a different mug. Whenever you use/see the mug you got, you pray for the person who bought it. So whenever I enjoy a cup of tea or hot chocolate I pray for Lindsey. That’s why this is my favourite mug. ~~Plus the fact that it’s gorgeous.~~

lettherebesmiling asked: I know they say to never judge a book by its cover, but I feel like it's an artist's job to portray moods and themes of the book in the design of a book's cover (or lackthereof in the case of Catcher in the Rye). Did you have any say in what the cover of TFiOS ended up looking like? If yes, why was it designed to look the way it does? What is the cover portraying? If no, what, do you think, is the cover's relevance to the book? Is there any particular part it expresses especially well?

Most authors don’t have a ton of say in their covers (and I certainly don’t internationally), but I did have a lot of say in this cover, and I was very happy with the cover that Rodrigo Corral...
