Oh the emotions
So it’s kind of been an all over day
- I’m finally beginning to feel at home at my church here on the island; we went to a couple’s home for lunch today and I had a lot of fun talking with them and playing Pictionary.
- I’ve begun the process of applying to work as camp staff this summer here at Qwanoes working as an arts and crafts leader. I don’t know if I’m qualified.
- Every time I need to list references I realize how few mentors I have and how few female role models I feel connected to.
- We leave for our Kaleo ski trip tomorrow morning (at 5:30 in the morning!) and I’m really looking forward to it. If you’re into praying it would be awesome if your prayed for safety and that those in my program would use the escape from camp to connect with one another and with God.
- Also, my roommate is going through a tough time with her family and prayer for peace and hope for all involved would be lovely.
